The Bataung team provided a healthy and delicious breakfast followed by lunch and entertainment by the home's own Choir.

Fathers DayThe event was covered by E-news Channel and one of the destitute fathers was reunited with his long lost son.

The son had seen the footage and contacted the home for assistance and happily, it was the father he had been searching for all along.

About Tswelopele Centre:

Tswelopele centre was founded in 2005 and houses about 100 men for whom the event is in honour of, there are ladies also in the centre.

The centre is a home to many chronically ill, frail, physically and mentally disabled as well as the destitute.

Tswelopele was founded after the unfortunate demise of the Emseni Chronic Care Unit formerly with Rhema Service Foundation due to the lack of funding and support.

Unfortunately most NGOs suffer from this problem in most parts of the previously disadvantaged parts of the country.
